Coronavirus Impact: Which Tradeshows are Cancelled, Postponed or Going Ahead?
Which Telco & Broadcaster tradeshows were you planning to attend this year? After the shock of MWC Barcelona being cancelled it is therefore very likely that many other tradeshows and conferences will be cancelled or postponed too. Here in Deveo we like to make life easier for you, so we’ve compiled a list of CSP Tradeshows that have been cancelled, postponed or are going ahead. Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, several countries have put restrictions in place on gatherings of crowds, and many companies have put in place employee travel bans. These combined measures make it difficult for tradeshows to proceed, after all a key component of a successful tradeshow is the people!
Rescheduled or cancelled?
We’re already starting to see a trend to reschedule rather than cancel. The event organisers are trying desperately to stop their losses. Certainly the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2020 are shaping up to be extremely busy with many event organisers hedging their bets and postponing rather than cancelling. September and October are starting to look especially busy in our calendar.
Since the situation is rapidly evolving, we have compiled a list of all the events that attract CSPs (Communication Service Providers) and are following these to let you know if they have been officially cancelled, postponed or are going ahead.
On the grapevine….
(And shhhhh….. rumour has it…. since we are so well connected in the Telco & Broadcaster industries, we often hear rumours of what will happen before it is officially announced. We are happy to provide you with our unique insights.)
List updated daily
We’ll continue to update our list of cancelled & postponed conferences as soon as we hear of them, through official or unofficial channels. If you know of any events being cancelled or postponed please feel free to email us at covid19@deveo.net and we will include them on our list.
